THE woman killed in an Oxford caravan park was a devoted grandmother-of-three, her family said today.

Police have identified the 55-year-old victim, who was killed at Prospect Park caravan park in Horspath, Oxford, as being Jenny Hume, of Hamel Walk in the city centre.

Mrs Hume was a divorced mother-of-three.

She had three grandchildren, to whom she was devoted, her family said.

In a tribute released through police, her family added: "Her main interests were looking after her grandchildren and in her spare time she also enjoyed horse-riding."

Stewart Dale, 27, has been charged with murdering her and will appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court on Monday.

A post mortem examination showed that she suffered stab wounds but was killed by blunt trauma to the head, police said.
