BANBURY MAGISTRATES’

BRIAN FORD, 77, of High Street, Ramsden, Chipping Norton, was convicted of speeding at 60mph in a 50mph area at North Leigh near Witney on July 27. He was fined £320 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

JAZMIN GRAY-TURNER, 25, of Main Road, Long Hanborough, admitted speeding at 46mph in a 30mph area at High Wycombe on May 9. She was fined £293 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and her driving licence was endorsed with four points.

ELGIS KURTI, 23, of Ladenham Road, Oxford, was convicted of using a handheld mobile phone while driving on September 18 at Oxford as well as driving without insurance or a valid driving licence. He was fined a total of £480 and must pay a victim surcharge of £36 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for nine months.

MARCELO LIMA, 41, of Swinburne Road, Banbury, admitted speeding at 40mph in a 30mph area on Marston Road, Oxford, on August 4. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

DANIEL KNOWLES, 47, of High Street, Sutton Courtenay, was convicted of speeding at 38mph in a 30mph area at Lamborough Hill, Wootton, on September 10. He was fined £290 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

JAMIE CARRICK, 21, of RAF Brize Norton, admitted two counts of assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty at Asda, Black Bourton Road, Carterton, on April 14. He was fined £600 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

JAMES BUTLER, 26, of Grimsbury Drive, Banbury, admitted failing to comply with a community order by failing to attend rehabilitation activity requirement on March 6 and 13. He was made subject to a new community order to include 150 hours of unpaid work.

SARAH ANDERSON, 22, of Early Road, Witney, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on April 12 at Moorland Road, Witney. Had 100mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. She was made subject to a community order to include 80 hours of unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 24 months.

JOHN CARPENTER, 71, of St Johns Drive, Carterton, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on April 17 at Carterton. Had 54mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

OXFORD MAGISTRATES:

TOBY HOOPER, 30, of Forestry Cottages, Watlington, was convicted of using a vehicle without insurance, a licence or valid test certificate on the B4009 at Benson on November 18. Fined £660, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Disqualified for six months.

CHARLES JOBB, 54, of Bartlemas Road, Cowley, admitted possessing a knife and stealing Easter Eggs worth £5.95 from the Co-Op in Cowley Road on March 29 while subject to a conditional discharge. Placed under curfew for eight weeks between 9pm and 6am daily. Must pay a victim surcharge of £85.

RACHEL MASON, 33, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted handling stolen goods, namely a Beats Stereo System of unknown value on April 13. Sentenced to six weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay £30 in compensation.

ROBERT COOKE, 34, of Gibbs Crescent, Oxford admitted possessing cannabis and being drunk and disorderly in Park End Street, Oxford on March 27. Discharged conditionally for 12 months, must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.

JEVGENIJS IVANOUS, 30, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving and driving without insurance or a licence in Ambassador Avenue, Oxford on March 22. Had 60mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Fined £250, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving 12 months.

NEPHAT NDHLOVU, 21, of Southern Bypass, Oxford admitted assaulting a constable and possessing cannabis in Wytham Street, Oxford on March 29. Fined £80, must pay compensation of £50.

LEE WALLIS, 42, of Station Road, Chinnor admitted possessing Cannabis in Oxford on January 7. Fined £100, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

TONY COOKE, 18, of Eastfields, Blewbury was convicted of driving without insurance in Worcester Close, Didcot on September 4. Fined £270, must pay a victim surcharge of £30. Six penalty points.

LUKE BERRY, 30, of Taylor Close, Faringdon admitted causing £78 worth of damage in a police cell at Abingdon Police Station on March 31. Conditionally discharged for six months, must pay £78 compensation, £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

BILLY CRAIG BISTON, 23, of Cotswold Terrace, Chipping Norton, admitted entering a premises without reasonable excuse despite a closure order being in place in Dunstan Avenue, Chipping Norton, on April 15. Fined £150, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

RHYS CRANE, 20, of Laburnum Road, Botley, admitted racially aggravated harassment in Oxford on April 1. Fined £300, must pay £100 compensation, £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

LEE JONES, 38, of no fixed address admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Sutton Courtenay on April 13. Restraining order made and he must not contact a woman for a year. Fined £100, must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
