Artwork is ridden and read across city

HATTIE Hayes has been keeping her bike under wraps, all in the name of art.
Ms Hayes from Didcot has been taking pictures of a bike that she has wrapped in copies of the Oxford Mail as part of the art course at Oxford Brookes University.
The bike is pictured in and around some of the city’s most famous tourist attractions, including the Bridge of Sighs, above, and Carfax Tower. She said: “What I wanted to do was bring students, residents and tourists together around one object. Wrapping it in the Oxford Mail brings in the residents’ side of it.”
The 45-year-old is in her second year of her part-time course and hopes to become an art therapist. She has taken more than 100 photos, which will be turned into postcards.
