BURGLARS broke into an antiques shop overnight to steal jewellery and watches worth £150,000.
The Swan, in High Street, Tetsworth, near Thame, was targeted by burglars who forced a door open and smashed glass cases with an axe.
Police and fire services were called to the centre after an alarm went off at 2.40am on Friday, December 12.
Store manager Shakira Keane said: “We’re still going through everything to see what’s been stolen, but it’s things like Rolex watches and jewellery.”
She estimated that items worth £150,000 had gone missing.
