Among those who took advantage of the occasion was mother-of-two Claire Williams.

The 35-year-old, of Faringdon, visited the park with her two sons Freddie, two, and Harry, three.

She said: “It was really nice with a nice atmosphere.

“My boys really had a good time so we were there for about an hour-and-a-half. We had a walk around the gardens, played croquet, looked around the house and had vintage tea and cakes.

“The boys also played on the space hoppers and they really enjoyed it.

“As usual, they did not want to go home.”

According to its website, Braziers Park operates as a residential community for people who want to share a common life.

The open day also included craft-making activities and a barbecue.
