ANDREW Main has been sectioned indefinitely under the Mental Health Act after admitting starting a number of fires in South Oxfordshire in January.
The 47-year-old of Rokemarsh near Wallingford admitted on May 1 that he started the fires, including one which caused severe damage to South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Council offices on January 15.
He pleaded guilty to four counts of arson with intent to endanger life and not guilty to a charge of arson with intent to endanger life.
He was sectioned today at Oxford Crown Court.
