FANS of Disney’s phenomenally-popular film Frozen found plenty to enjoy at the annual Wallingford Fun Day.

A traditional bouncy castle, face painting, fairground rides and children’s games in Kinecroft Park were topped off with an appearance by Princess Elsa and Olaf, who sang some of the film’s best-loved hits in a snowy marquee. Youngsters Caeden and Saskia Rowe, aged three and six, threw themselves into the spirit of the day on Saturday.

Mum Anna Rowe, from Wallingford, said: “It was a brilliant day. It was so much fun. Elsa was very good, although Olaf was a bit scary.

“There was the bouncy slide, which was good, and Caeden drove a fire engine on the little roundabout.”

All funds raised at the event will go to the Nasio Trust, an Abingdon-based charity which provides help for children and orphans in Kenya, where Aids and HIV are rife.

The charity also provides day centres supporting orphans in Oxfordshire.
