A driver received a cut lip after he was struck with a cyclist’s helmet during a road rage incident.
An argument broke out between the motorist and the man on the A329 Reading Road, near Wallingford, on Tuesday evening.
Police said 23-year-old Matthew Ambler was forced to brake hard when the bicycle pulled out in front of him. In the resulting row the cyclist hit the victim in the face with his helmet.
The cyclist was a white man, of medium build and about 5ft 9in, with fair medium length hair. He wore an orange cycling vest with a white band around it, orange cycling shorts and red cycling shoes. The bike was black with yellow writing.
