A DRIVER died after crashing into a tree in Berinsfield this morning.
Thames Valley Police shut off the A4074 following the collision at the Berinsfield Roundabout, and this morning announced a fatality.
The driver veered off the road at about 7am and was pronounced dead at scene.
Force spokesman James Williams said officers were called out at 7.04am
He said: "A vehicle had left the road a collided with a tree.
"Sadly the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by the ambulance service."
The road was shut between the roundabout and Shillingford Roundabout before reopening at 11.15am.
Michelle Archer, spokeswoman for South Central Ambulance Service, said: "We were called at 7.09am to Oxford Road where a vehicle had come off the road.
"We assessed one patient who was sadly confirmed dead."
