UPDATE: Flood alerts lifted

THE Environment Agency today lifted the flood alerts on the River Cherwell - from Lower Heyford to Oxford - the River Thame and the Chalgrove Brook, which had been in force for more than a week.
The only flood alert still in force in Oxfordshire is on the River Ray, from Shipton Lee to Islip, through Blackthorn and Murcott, which has been in effect for 10 days.
