Knifeman on the run sparks police search

A KNIFEMAN on the run sparked a police search in Berinsfield.
Officers were called to Colne Drive at 11.32am today to reports of a man who had run out of a house with a kitchen knife.
A number of patrol cars and the police helicopter were called to the scene and a search was carried out.
A man was detained under the mental health act at 12.08pm.
Inspector Chris Evans from Thames Valley Police said no one was injured in the incident.
