Man arrested in Wantage following robbery
A police helicopter was used to help officers searching for a suspected robber today.
National Police Air Service (NPAS) Benson tweeted that it was helping Thames Valley Police officers to locate a man who ran off during an arrest attempt.
Thames Valley Police spokesman James Williams said a 21-year-old man from Wantage was later arrested on suspicion of a robbery, which took place in Chain Hill at about 4pm yesterday.
Mr Williams said cash was stolen from a 33-year-old man during the robbery.
