A MAN has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries following a collision between a van and a car.
Grove Road, in Grove, is now open, but was closed for several hours following the incident this morning.
Spokeswoman for South Central Ambulance Service Michelle Archer said they received a call at 7.18am.
She added: "We sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew.
"One patient, an adult male, have been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with serious head injuries."
Thames Valley Police said they were called to Grove Road on A338 at 7.23am.
He added: "The collision is between a van and a car."
Traffic was congested in the area and some bus services were unable to attend stops.
SERVICE UPDATE: A338 closed between East Hanney and Marcham. Buses unable to serve stops at present. Emergency services are in attendance.
