A CAMPAIGN group manager has urged people to keep pressing their councillors over the 'temporary' closure of their hospital.
Julie Mabberley, right, of the Wantage and Grove Campaign Group for sustainable development said elected representatives wanted to hear from constituents.
In her latest newsletter to group members she wrote: "We have been talking to the councils about the continuing temporary closure of the Wantage Community Hospital (closed except for maternity) and once again they need to know that we care so please contact your councillors at county, district and town levels."
The hospitals 12 in-patient beds closed in July 2016 and its physiotherapy was stopped last year. The NHS trust owners Oxford Health say it may stay open.
