King Alfred's Community and Sports College rock musical opens in Wantage tonight

PUPILS at King Alfred’s Community and Sports College, Wantage, are inviting people to share in an inter-galactic adventure with their production of the rock-and-roll musical Return to the Forbidden Planet, which opens tonight.

The annual upper college production sees the school hall transformed into the spaceship The Albatross for the show, which includes classics such as Great Balls of Fire, Young Girl and The Monster Mash.

The show opens tonight (7pm) and runs through until Saturday. There is an additional performance on Saturday afternoon (1.30pm). Tickets are available from the centre site office (01235 225700), with adult tickets costing £10 and concessions £5.
