Prince mourning

FARINGDON: A motorcyclist killed on the A417 near the town, was Prince William’s former flying instructor.

Helicopter pilot James Hasssell, 36, a Warrant Officer Class 2, died on March 10 when his motorbike was involved in a collision with a truck.

A spokesman for the Prince said: “The Duke of Cambridge has been informed of the sad news and his thoughts are with Mr Hassell’s family.”
