THE deadline for residents to have their say on housing plans in West Oxfordshire is today.

West Oxfordshire District Council will finish its public consultation on the draft local plan, which proposes to build 9,450 homes by 2029.

It held three public exhibitions in Chipping Norton, Carterton and Witney outlining the housing allocations.

Comments will be taken into consideration and a final version of the plan will be published and submitted to an independent Government planning inspector for examination in spring next year.
