A MOTORIST was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital after a collision on the A40 westbound near Witney.
Ambulance and fire crews were called at 12.13pm after a small van and a small car collided on the A40 in between the B4022 (Witney East) and A415 Ducklington Lane (Witney Town Centre / Ducklington Turn Off).
One motorist was taken to John Radcliffe hospital by ambulance.
According to Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue, one fire engine was called from Eynsham to ensure the scene was safe.
The condition of the motorist is unknown.
The westbound carriageway of the A40 was blocked approaching Witney following the crash but has since been reopened.
