Thieves take one car and try to steal another in Witney street
A car was stolen and another the target of an attempted theft in Witney.
Thames Valley Police said a grey P-registration VW Golf was stolen outside a property at Queen Emmas Dyke between July 3 and July 4 but was found the following day at the other end of the road.
The force said thieves entered a second car in Queen Emmas Dyke on the same day but the blue Renault Clio, which belonged to the son of the Golf's owner, did not have the keys inside and the car was not moved.
