BEFORE they went into business together, Paul Broome and Andrew Benzie were two ordinary barbers.
Now the pair have gone for something a little different with the launch of the Blunt Rabbit, a gentlemen’s grooming parlour in Witney’s High Street which boasts a bar.
Mr Benzie said: “We are trying to bring the real barbershop back to the modern day, a place men can come in and enjoy.
“It’s somewhere you can chill rather than just getting your monthly haircut. It’s a bit more stylish, a bit more classic.
“When you walk through the door we play blues and jazz to send you back in time.
“We want to bring a 1940s, whisky room sort of look.”
The team is expecting to get a licence in the next few days.
Mr Benzie added: “In Witney most barbershops offer your average walk-in, walk-out haircut. There are people out there who want that experience.
“But we thought we could try something a little bit different.
“We want to appeal to people who take a bit more pride in their appearance.”
