A MAN was hit in the face on the dancefloor at The Beehive pub in Carterton, Thames Valley Police said.
The assault happened on Saturday at about 12.30am at the pub in Black Bourton Road.
After a fight broke out the victim, a 20-year-old man, was struck in the face by another man and suffered swelling and bruising to his right eye.
The assailant was then asked to leave the pub. He is described as white, about 5ft 8ins, stocky and with short light-coloured hair. He was probably in his 20s and was wearing a black jacket and light blue jeans.
Anyone who was in The Beehive at the time is asked to contact investigating officer PC Craig Vaughan.
