A CCTV image has been released following the attempted burglary at an Eynsham wine specialists.
A man attempted to get into Eynsham Cellars store, in Mill Street, by using a tool to break in at about 2.40am on Monday, October 26.
The tool was used to try and force the frame of the window but the man did not gain entry to the shop.
Thames Valley Police said that the man approached the shop from the direction of John Lopes Road and is asking for anyone with information to get in touch.
Eynsham Neighbourhood Team investigating officer sergeant Elizabeth Bell said: "We are keen to speak to the man in the CCTV image as he may have information to help with our investigation."
