THOUSANDS of pounds worth of horse riding equipment was stolen from a Witney stables.
Thieves raided outbuildings at a farm in Crawley Road and made off with a number of saddles, bridles and rugs between 5pm on December 22 and 8am the following day.
A generator was also stolen from one of the buildings.
The police have urged owners of horse equipment - known as tack - to do what they can to protect valuable equipment.
