Burglar distracts elderly woman

WITNEY: A distraction burglar who claimed he was searching for his lost dog preyed on an elderly woman in New Road, Sutton.
A man arrived at her home at about 12.30pm on Tuesday, claiming to be looking for his lost dog and convinced the victim to help him search her garden.
While she was distracted another person went into her home and stole £80.
The man was white, in his early 20s, about 5ft 6ins tall, and had brown curly hair.
