CELEBRATIONS for the Jubilee are starting to flower in Witney.

A flower bed for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee next weekend was planted in Langdale Gate on Tuesday as part of a host of initiatives in the town to mark the Jubilee celebrations.

The site will soon bloom into a colourful design of purple and gold.

Town council Jubilee working party chairman Chrissie Curry said: “It looks fantastic and all the plants will come into fullness in 10 days’ time, just in time for the Jubilee.”

They're both from the town council who don't deal with pest control. Pest control is the District Council: http://www.westoxon.
