Artist Sophie Thompson used concrete reinforcing bars to make this striking sculpture of a horse.

The artwork sits outside The Studios in Banbury Road, Swerford, Chipping Norton, which is hosting an exhibition this month.

The Milton-under-Wychwood artist spent six months working on the horse and said: “It is more abstract than what I would normally do. It is there to catch people’s eyes.”
