Help wildlife park name their pygmy goats
COTSWOLD Wildlife Park is looking for help naming two adorable additions to its collection of animals.
The two as-yet-unnamed African Pygmy Goat kids were born on July 19 to mum Smudge and dad Ozzie – named after rock star Osbourne.
African Pigmy Goats are found across the continent and are kept as farm animals for their meat and milk.
Cotswold Wildlife Park has kept the animals since 1970 and has been successfully breeding them for the past eight years.
The park is expanding its collection and the new kids are likely to stay in the children’s farm. Previous kids have been sold to private collections.
Children’s farm keeper Jade Stott, pictured, said: “It is lovely to have them around. They are always energetic and skip around.
"They are a great boon for us.”
