A BODY has been pulled from the River Windrush in Burford.

Burford resident Sarah Denton said: “There are a lot of police blocking off the main car park in Burford, four police cars, two fire engines, and ambulance, an ambulance helicopter and a police helicopter.

“There was a third fire engine - that has left - and there was a fire engine flatbed as well which they use for chemical spills.

“It’s quite shocking for a Friday morning.”

I don't think Ms Denton ment to offend anyone. Maybe some people read to hard into things! When your put on the spot and asked to make a quote about something, I'm sure you say the first thing that pops into your head. And I certainly don't think she ment to offend the family of the deceased. Perhaps people should be more understanding of one another, and think about the poor lady who they found and her family!!!
