Finally The Store hotel in Oxford is open and I look forward to dining at the Treadwell restaurant in the near future.
As soon as I can I will catch up with general manager Simon Drake for an update.
In other city centre news The Cake Shop is leaving the Covered Market today after 38 years in the city and will open at a new shop unit in Witney in a week's time.
The owners blamed the traffic and other reasons for the move but the market appears to be doing quite well and the city council is spending money on it.
Down the road in Abingdon a new fish and chip shop is about to open and the lock keeper's wife wants her goats to be accessible to the public.
For the time being the Environment Agency is not allowing that to happen so she has launched a petition.
Have a good weekend and enjoy the sunshine!
