FORMER Chinnor flanker Tom Johnson is relishing playing for England at Twickenham after being named in their squad to face Fiji on Saturday.

The 30-year-old Exeter Chiefs player is guaranteed at least a place on the bench when England’s side is announced this morning.

Johnson, whose rise to the top began when he appeared for Chinnor while studying at Oxford Brookes University, played in England’s three summer Tests in South Africa.

He said: “I have played a couple of times against the Barbarians at Twickenham in the last two years in front of 40,000 people.

“That was a brilliant experience. Hopefully, playing in front of a full house is going to really top it off.”
