Oxford RL continue to build for next season with the signing of former London Skolars player Glenn Osborn.

And coach Tony Benson cannot wait to link-up again with a player he has previous experience of working with.

“I coached him at Skolars previously,” said Benson.

“He is not the biggest prop in the game, but has excellent feet and defends strongly.

“He can also play as a back rower if needed as he has a strong pass.”

The player is equally looking forward to the challenge at Oxford after becoming their 12th signing.

“It is exciting times at the club,” he said.

“I spoke with Tony when I heard the club was being created and I wanted to be a part of it.

“When we trained together on January 6 there was a real buzz around the place.”
