THE founder of Oxford RFC has been inducted into the International Rugby Board (IRB) Hall of Fame.
Alfred St. George Hamersley was the driving force behind the formation of Oxfordshire Nomads, who later became Oxford RFC, in 1909.
A former England captain, Hamersley had a big influence in promoting rugby around the world before his death in 1929 aged 80.
