Oxfordshire embark on a new Premier Division campaign this weekend when they travel to take on Kent. A big plus is the capture of one of the world’s top female youth players, Casey Gallagher, who is an England Youth international and reigning European youth singles champion.

She has been played county darts for London and has been European Under 18 singles champion for the last two years.

Team manager, Graham Manning, said: “Casey has been coming up against players like our Deta Hedman and expressed a desire to play for a Premier Division county as London are only in Division 1. So she came to join us.”

The men’s team has also been boosted by the return of Sean Holley, Antony Barrett and Mark Burns, who have been playing for Wiltshire.

Mark Breakspear and Paul O’Sullivan join the squad as reserves after solid performances in the Oxfordshire Super League. This weekend’s games will be played at the 6 in 1 Community Club, Northwood Road, Tonbridge (11am).
