ZACK Norris scored 27 points as Oxford Harlequins roared to a 57-7 victory at basement boys Salisbury.

Fly half Norris bagged two tries, seven conversions and a penalty to lead Quins to a fourth straight win.

A defensive lapse let in centre James Kaminski to score Salisbury’s only try on five minutes, converted by fly half Rory Davis.

Norris replied with a penalty before the visitors took control, the same player creating and converting a try from centre Keni Fisilau.

No 8 Jackson Achilles drove over for try No 2 and Norris set up full back Jack Robinson for Quins’ third, the fly half converting both for a 24-7 half-time lead.

Another Norris break sent Fisilau in for his second, which the former converted.

Loose-head prop Matt Edney threw a big dummy to go over for Quins’ fifth score.

On 70 minutes, replacement Richard Battson peeled off a lineout to touch down and Norris converted for 43-7.

Norris wrapped up a great individual display by dummying his way over for two tries in two minutes, converting them both.

Witney were undone by a stronger pack in their 30-20 home defeat to Reading.

The hosts battled back to trail just 25-20 with five minutes to go, but centre Daniel Witko sealed it for Reading with a late interception try.

Fly half Phil Thomas kicked Witney ahead with a penalty before Reading hit back to lead 20-3.

Lock Matt Davies, centre Alexander Dorliac and flanker Ashley Macnaughton scored tries, with Dorliac converting his own score and Steve Mills landing a drop goal.

Macnaughton was yellow-carded on 27 minutes and replacement prop Jamie Burke gave Witney hope with a try before the break.

Reading went 25-8 ahead with try from scrum half Mike Macnaughton.

Back came Witney with prop Alan Richens crashing through the tiring Reading defence and full back Henry Lamb converting.

Flanker Tim Muller then finished off in the corner to create a tense last few minutes before Witko struck.

A disappointing Grove lost 28-17 at Buckingham.

Buckingham led 25-3 at half-time thanks to tries from Will Kiddle, Ollie Payne and Calum Gillie, with Andrew White kicking two conversions and two penalties.

This was despite No 8 Joe Collins being yellow-carded. Grove full back Roger Sevier slotted a penalty.

Replacement flanker Richard Haire, who was sin-binned late on, and wing Harry Carr went over for Grove in the second half, Sevier converting both.

White kicked a penalty in between these.
