BICESTER inflicted a first defeat of the season on leaders Tadley with a 22-10 success at Oxford Road.
No 8 Dan Spencer was held up early on for Bicester, but scrum half Mike Harris scored their opening try after dummying his way over, fly half Steve Risbridger converting.
Risbridger added a penalty before Tadley lock Byron Bartlett went over on the stroke of half-time. Tadley levelled with a try from scrum half Jake Cottrell, but wing John Behan raced over for Bicester and Risbridger converted.
Centre Ross Kenny put Behan away for his second try and Bicester held on.
Gosford All Blacks went level on points with Tadley after a 22-8 home victory over Littlemore.
Chris Bennett (2) and Jack Briggs went over for Gosford’s tries, with Ben Bodinham converting both and adding a penalty.
Darrel Rendell scored Littlemore’s try, with Simon Gamble slotting a penalty.
