GRAHAM Alexander was frustrated Fleetwood Town were unable to close out a victory against Oxford United.
The Cod Army went in front through Steven Schumacher’s 12th-minute free-kick, but were second best after half time.
Alexander admitted the U’s had been on top to pin the home side back, but was irritated to be pegged back with a minute of normal time remaining.
The Fleetwood boss said: “Obviously we’re disappointed to concede a goal so late on, but they have got good strikers and they put us under a lot of pressure.
“They put a lot of balls into our box and for the majority of the time we dealt with it really well, but it was just one free header and it cost us.”
