LEWIS Anderson may have won Blues in each of Oxford University’s four successive Varsity Match victories, but the prop could be back for more.

Anderson, 23, shone at loosehead as the Dark Blues demolished Cambridge’s scrum at Twickenham.

The prop (pictured) is studying for a masters in criminology and criminal justice and hopes to prolong his university experience.

“I am quite keen to apply for a doctorate,“ he said.

“It is not worth doing if you don’t have a very credible research plan, so I need to work at that over Christmas, but that’s pretty much the aim.”

As for Oxford’s set-piece dominance at Twickenham, Anderson added: “Wayne Thompson, our scrummaging coach, has really got us going well, so a lot of the credit goes to him too.”
