Valu Bentley has become the latest member of Oxford RL to re-sign for the season.
Bentley who plays in the loose forward position, was an integral member of the team last year where he made 14 appearances in the Kingstone Press Championship, scoring two tries.
He was the first Oxford player to score a try at Iffley Road when he went over against the South Wales Scorpions.
Valu was delighted to be re-joining the club for the 2014 season.
He said: “It didn’t take much to convince me to    re-sign. I really enjoyed my first year at Oxford.
“Being the first ever Oxford rugby league professional signing, first try scorer at Iffley Road and winning the first man of thematch was a big achievement for me.”
Oxford coach Tony Benson said: “Valu was one of the leaders on the field consistently week in and week out. He can switch positions during the game which is a fantastic asset to have and has a really good work rate.”
