PAUL Humphreys has taken over from Gary Condon as Aston Rowant CC chairman.

Humphreys was voted in at Rowant’s AGM, with Condon having stepped down after six years’ service.

“The club asked me if I would stand and it is an honour to take over as chairman,” said seam bowler Humphreys, who will also continue to play.

CUMNOR, last year’s Division 2 champions, will be at home to Great Brickhill on their return to the top flight on the opening day of the Cherwell League season.
