Oxford United have confirmed the signing of Portsmouth striker David Connolly on loan until the end of the season.
The 36-year-old has a wealth of experience, and has played in the Premier League.
But he has fallen out of favour at Fratton Park under new boss Richie Barker and has joined the U's in time to feature for United against AFC Wimbledon tomorrow.
The Republic of Ireland man, who won 41 caps for his country and has moved for more than £4.1m, has made 323 career starts, scoring 141 goals.
