Harbour Court, Aston Rowant trainer Alan Hill’s big hope for the CGA Foxhunter Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, is unlikely to make the long haul to Kelso on Thursday.

Hill gave the eight-year-old an entry in a hunters’ chase at the Scottish venue after he was forced to miss his intended reappearance when the Cambridge University Draghounds point-to-point meeting at Cottenham on Saturday was washed out.

But now he is set to run in either a point-to-point at Higham, near Colchester, or Barbury Castle, near Marlborough, on Sunday.

“It is very unlikely,” said Hill of a Kelso run. “He was put in as an option, but since that entry other point-to-point entries have been made and they look better options.”
