Ashton Club marched on at the the top of Division 1 of the Gentworks Oxford & District League by coming from behind to win 2-1 at home to New Club.
David White (+40) took the opener for New Club with a 200-162 success over Pete Fenn (+60).
But Terry Chambers (+10) then swept aside Nigel Bossom (-10) to level the match, and Callum Vinall (+30) saw off Justin Shepherd (+30) to secure victory for the leaders.
Division 2 side Fieldside won 2-1 at Division 1 outfit Riley B.
Simon Aries (-70) starred for Fieldside with breaks of 33, 30 and 38 in his 200-186 win over Doug Baker (+90), which clinched.
Mike Chapman (+80) had provided Fieldside’s opening point with a 150-123 victory against Roger Tomlin (+70), while Bob Hayward (+90) prevented the whitewash with a 200-143 triumph against Bob Chivers (-30).
