Karl Walker retained the Gentworks Oxford & District League’s Arthur Goodwin Handicap Cup in a repeat of last year’s final.
Playing off scratch, he defeated Shaun Taylor (+28) 2-1.
Taylor took the first frame 77-25, but then the holder found his touch, knocking in a break of 55 to level it up 91-55 in the second.
A break of 45 in the decider proved the clincher as Walker ran out a 82-35 winner.
In the semi-finals, Walker had seen off Michael Bennett (scratch) 2-0, making a break of 66 in the second frame as he triumphed 100-5, 74-32.
Taylor beat Julian Price (scratch) 51-37, 41-42, 64-57.
