OXFORD United's hopes of reaching the play-offs were snuffed out by a 2-1 defeat at home to Accrington Stanley on Saturday.

Ryan Williams pulled a goal back after the visitors had gone ahead through Kayode Odejayi and James Gray, but it could not inspire a comeback.

At last Waddock seems to have realized what most supporters have seen over the past 18 or so games..... A DRASTIC OVERHAUL of the playing staff. I think had Waddock spoken to some die hard fans before he would not have required the Accrington shambles to as he says 'nailed it as what needs to be done'. Now get dialing on the phone start speaking to the players you feel able to play to your system and for OUFC bring them in and lets pray it works for you. If there are some reasonable players brought in early it may, just may give some the confidence to renew their season tickets if not, then I feel you will be looking for another position after 10 or so games next season if things continue as they are.
