OXFORD’S Division 1 game at champions Henley was washed out after 5.4 overs – but not before New Zealander Mark Beer had made a duck on his debut.
The 27-year-old rounder was bowled by Henley skipper Bjorn Mordt, before Oxford reached 19-1 after being put in to bat when the heavens opened making any further play impossible.
- Anupam Sanklecha laid down an early marker for Shipton-under-Wycwhood with the only wicket to fall before their Division 2 game at Falkland was abandoned.
The Indian all-rounder bowled David Bloor for ten as the hosts struggled to 19-1 off 9.1 overs after being put in to bat, before heavy rain meant there was no further play.
- Aston Rowant’s Division 1 game at High Wycombe also fell victim to the bad weather.
