Oxford University were well placed going into the final day against Cambridge in The Parks today.
The Light Blues lost their last three first-innings wickets for the addition of only five runs, giving Oxford a lead of 85.
They increased that to 370 in their second innings as skipper Gus Kennedy and Nick Ferraby led the way again.
Ferraby followed his first innings century with 69, while Kennedy forfeited the chance of a century by declaring on 285-5 with his own score on 91 not out.
That gave the Dark Blues three overs at Cambridge late on, but their openers survived to make 7-0, still requiring another 364 to win.
