Danny Harding crac-ked an unbeaten 149 as Chadlington compiled 209-3 in 35 overs of their OCA League Division 1 clash.

Although Saqib Mohammed made an excellent 94 not out, Garsington fell an agonising five runs short.

Chasing Oxenford’s 116-7, Tom Spurr, with 38, spearheaded the reply, Horwood reaching their target with three overs to spare.

Atif Liaquat’s 5-16 restricted Faringdon to 96 before Radley scrambled across the line six wickets down.

Stonesfield stay second after a comfortable victory at home to Tetsworth.

With the wickets shared around, they shot out the opposition for 120 before Tim Wyatt (63 no) saw his side home at 121-1.

Replying to 116-5 off 25 overs, Chesterton knocked off the requirement for the loss of five wickets.

Wantage secured a nail-biting one wicket victory in their low-scoring Division 3 match at home to Westcott.

Mike Konschel (4-28) helped restrict Westcott to 100.

The hosts also struggled against Atiq Hussain (4-17) but scrambled home on 104-9.

A belligerent 63 from Stuart Leonard steered his Marsh Gibbon outfit to 137-4 against Wolvercote.

Despite 54 from Alex Hadcock, the chase was halted at 126, thanks to Joe Leonard’s 4-24.

In another rain-reduced 25-over contest, Cairns Fudge piled on the runs with 154-6, Steve Shaw blasting 41 and Andy Small 39 not out.

Three wickets apiece for James Robertson (3-8) and Steve Shaw (3-17) then limited Eynsham to 65-9.

James Snow smashed 130 and Andrew Wingfield Digby 84 as Swinbrook amassed 264-4 at home to Britwell Salome in Division 4.

Jack Bullivant then took 4-21 as the visitors were dismissed for 163.

Richard Nash top-scored with 52 in Charlbury’s 106-7 against Deddington.

It was not enough however, as Gerard Duncan (51no) saw his side home by seven wickets.

In the only completed match in Division 5, John Thompson’s 5-12 helped Risinghurst rout Kilkenny for 55.

Rahul Venkat then hit a quick-fire 38 as the target was reached in fewer than six overs.

With an undefeated 58, Douglas Hilliam helped Hanney put on 169-7 at home to Hook Norton 2nd in Division 6.

However, Grant Wallis (66no) and Oliver Evans (42) gave the North Oxfordshire side the win by five wickets.

Half-centuries from Great Horwood 2nd’s Simon Ridgeway (58no) and Peter McHenry (55) enabled their side to post 185-6.

Tight bowling, in particular from Andrew Ellison (3-14), reduced Oxenford 2nd to 72-7 in reply.

Bampton battered 165-5 at home to Broughton & North Newington 2nd in Division 7.

Grant Print smashed 73 and Steve Sheppard 54 not out.

The visitors were then shot out for 78, Ady Brooksbank bagging 4-14 and Josh Norris 3-23.

Despite an unbeaten 49 from George Thorne, Combe 2nd struggled to 87-4 at Cowley Internationals 2nd in Division 8.

With 41 not out, Waheed Rehman then steered the hosts to a nine-wicket victory.

Dorchester 2nd made a creditable 158-7 from 25 overs in their Division 9 contest with Wootton & Boars Hill 2nd.

Half-centuries, however, from Rama Garimella (58) and Matt Leach (54) got Wootton home by seven wickets.

In a Division 10 thriller, Kennington 2nd were bowled out for 102 at Westcott 2nd.

It was just enough as Tony Cherry’s 4-12, including a hat-trick, gave his team the win by six runs.

Wooton & Boars Hill 2nd lifted the Keith Crump Centenary Cup after easily defeating Eynsham 2nd in the final at Fringford.


They racked up 243-5 thanks primarily to an undefeated 120 from man of the match Rami Garrimella and a quick-fire 47 by skipper Marcus Charman.

Simon Steer then took 4-18 as the Eynsham innings stuttered to 93 all out.
