JAMES Cathcart heads the list of Chinnor returnees for tomorrow’s home clash with Southend in National 2 South.

The experienced fly half and renowned kicker, is named among the replacements, having not played a first-team match since November 2013 due to a badly broken arm.

Prop Ricky Cano (neck), flanker Ryan Long (ankle), centre Junior Fatialofa (hamstring) and lock Josh Kroman also return, while No 8 Alfie To’oala is back from suspension.

“We have had a lot of injuries and this is the first week a few of them are back,” said director of rugby Matt Williams.

“The return of James Cathcart is a real bonus. He has played two games for the seconds and is kicking like we know he can.

“He is a great option to have.”

Chinnor are seeking just a second win of the season after four successive near misses.

“We have worked all week on learning to win ugly rather than trying to win playing Hollywood rugby,” said Williams.

Props Tom West and James Litchfield, plus hooker Stuart Litchfield all come in as leaders Henley Hawks host Cambridge.

Will Woodward and Oskar Hirskyj-Douglas get the nod at lock and No 8 respectively, with Matt Payne moving to blindside flanker.

Connor Murphy returns at scrum half, with George Eastwell, a new signing from Ealing Trailfinders, making his debut at centre.

Hooker Hamish Atkinson and flanker Jonathan Miller make their Oxford Harlequins debuts at Newton Abbot in National 3 South West.

Nick Marshall returns at loosehead prop, while Ethan Carlisle moves to fly half. Alasdair Maspero and Alan Johnstone come in on the wings.

Ed Yeats shifts to full back and Jack Robinson to centre.

Grove hooker Steve Dixey is suspended for their home clash with Buckingham in South West 1 East following his sending off at Bletchley.

Jimmy Wallbridge replaces him, with Pat Wiltshire added to the bench.

Nick Sevier is unavailable, so Brendan White moves to centre and Joe Chivers to the wing.

Flanker Dave Wells is on the bench after four weeks out with a broken toe.

Head coach Craig Burrows said: “Now we have that first win, the players can relax a little bit, start to enjoy it and turn the majority of possession we have had in every game this season into points.”

Prop Mark Fuller, lock Scott Mortimer, flanker Stuart Catherall and wing Ben Fisk come into the Witney squad to visit Swindon.

Captain Oliver Hobdell makes his comeback after three weeks out with an Achilles injury as Wheatley visit Phoenix in the BB&O Premier Division, with back-row forwards Sean O’Leary and Jack Atkinson and wing Will Burnett also returning.
