Witney scored three times in the last eight minutes to pull off a remarkable 3-2 victory away to West Hampstead 2nd in South League Regional 2 on Saturday.

After a goalless first half, Witney gifted the home side an easy opener and almost immediately they added a second.

Heads dropped as Witney appeared to be heading for defeat.

But out of nowhere, the visitors struck through Andy Gosnell and Mike Godwin (2) to snatch the points.

Oxford Hawks won 3-2 away to Milton Keynes in a topsy-turvy Premier Division 1 clash.

Rob Dunnill gave Hawks the lead ten minutes before half-time with a reverse-stick shot.

The visitors went aheadwhen they converted two short corners after the break.

Hawks kept their shape and game plan and Kit Cutter made it 2-2 with a reverse-stick half-volley shot.

Within minutes, Kieran Roche rocketed the ball into the rigging for Hawks’ winning goal and they held on.

Bicester extended their unbeaten record in Berks, Bucks & Oxon Division 1, with a 2-2 draw at home to Banbury 2nd.

The hosts trailed 1-0 at half-time, but after a half-time rollicking from coach Andy Brown, they levelled within two minutes of the restart through Ian Oak.

Bicester took the lead when Jonny Reid netted from CJ Birtles brilliant free hit, but Banbury secured a point by equalising ten minutes from time.
