MIDLANDS 2 WEST SOUTH
A RELIEVED Banbury Bulls held on to take maximum points from a 30-25 victory at Nuneaton Old Edwardians.
Banbury led 30-11 before a late surge from the hosts put the win in danger.
Home fly half Adam Jones’s try was cancelled out by one from Bulls centre Dan Tooth, despite his side having flanker Sam Mills in the sin-bin.
Jones kicked two penalties either side of one from Banbury’s Ed Phillips.
